The Library of London is bad ass. We know someone that works there that is the only reason we went. I would have never gone to it other than having a friend in it. They have displays set up inside like a museum, if you have the time check it out it's not something you think about seeing on vacation but it is worth the trip.

Around what time were ya'll living there? My Dad was in the same situation. Worked on base at Mildenhall, and we lived in Lakenheath at the base housing. He got transfered to Louisiana right before they started tearing stuff down. Then retired soon after cause he already didn't like Louisiana, and they were gunna ship us off to New Jersey. He was a Master Seargent, worked on either KC-10 or KC-135 tankers while he was there I believe..223 > 911

London Bridge,

A movie museum right next to the london eye (if you are into movies its cool)
Bulkingham Palace (and change of gaurd)
Right down the street is an Austrian military monument, pretty cool.
Various old castles.
Did that all in one day. Wear running shoes or hiking boots and the undergound subway will be worth the money if you dont have another way to get around. The tour buses are also cool but I didn't use them. Wish I could have had more time to do more museums, and historical stuff. Its expensive as shit there! I think it was 1.6 Dollar to the british pound. Worth it though. have fun
The imperial war museum is awesome, Ive spent already one day there and will be goingback tomorrow to finish. its 1.70 dollar to the sterling pound right now, although ive only spent so far about 40 quid on stuff, like the tube card and credit on my mobile. Ive only had two days here so far and its fucking awesome.
On another note, I asked for different opinions from all the members because I am here for two months...First hand witness at the failure of public healthcare.
