Yeah Mockingbird is a god damn nightmare.... Usually when traffic is looking pretty congested I'll take Greenville Ave. to Royal Ln. to Hillcrest all the way up to Alpha and just take Alpha to my job in Farmers Branch.

In five years when it's complete the traffic will be worse and it will need another expansion. The 114/121 construction screws up my commute royally. I must admit the construction company who is doing that project is kicking some major ass on their timeline. Can't wait until they start the 183 expansion and we see how bad that gets.

I'm glad I started to work a 12-8:30pm shift. Pretty easy drive to work. Was only gonna work this shift for a little bit. I think I might just keep it while they work on it. Plus it's extra $$$.

I go Caruth Haven & 75 to Midway & 635 for work. In the mornings I take 75, Exit Forest, and take Forest all the way to Midway. It may take a few minutes more but the travel time is always consistent. I would end up being 30 minutes late if there was a wreck on 635.

Years ago when I lived in Garland and worked in Farmers Branch, I'd take Forest Lane. It was 30 minutes, every day. 635 could be 15 minutes one day and a hour and 15 minutes the next.

I'd gladly pay a stipend to actually go 60 mph in a 60 mph zone now-a-days. Seems like speed limits are only there anymore to ticket people who go a few miles per hour over when there isn't enough traffic to slow them down.

The HOV lanes work wonders for those that use it. It may not change your single driver commute much though. I hate that area and will NEVER live or work over there due to the way the traffic is. Screw Dallas county.

I can't wait to see what happens when there is a huge pile up in a HOV tunnel

We take the same exact routes to work I'm assuming since you only live about a light down in my neighborhood, lol!
