Yeah Mockingbird is a god damn nightmare.... Usually when traffic is looking pretty congested I'll take Greenville Ave. to Royal Ln. to Hillcrest all the way up to Alpha and just take Alpha to my job in Farmers Branch.Originally posted by mikec View PostMockingbird is a nightmare.

 Walnut Hill is not.

In five years when it's complete the traffic will be worse and it will need another expansion. The 114/121 construction screws up my commute royally. I must admit the construction company who is doing that project is kicking some major ass on their timeline. Can't wait until they start the 183 expansion and we see how bad that gets.

Years ago when I lived in Garland and worked in Farmers Branch, I'd take Forest Lane. It was 30 minutes, every day. 635 could be 15 minutes one day and a hour and 15 minutes the next.

The HOV lanes work wonders for those that use it. It may not change your single driver commute much though. I hate that area and will NEVER live or work over there due to the way the traffic is. Screw Dallas county.

I can't wait to see what happens when there is a huge pile up in a HOV tunnel

I can't stand traffic so this is much better.

Are there any school zones there?
