The funny thing is, you can do and just dont want to. MANY time we see people promoted to positions that they have no idea how to do because they were good at thier jobs. It happens very often in sales. I cant remember the name of the book, but it's something like the peters principle, and it basically states that most times in a corperation where people are promoted from within, eventually they will be promoted beyond thier abilities. It has nothing to do with degrees or schooling, it will happen.
Got to do some reading on that in my short stint at college. Seems my management as never done that.
