Work from home by telling people they can work from home. Ask me how by mailing me $100 and a self addressed stamped envelope....

      Selling

All of the plans are about the same. If you sell something, you make a little money. The only problem is that every one of them sells a product that is WAY over priced. Kirby sells a $ 1200 vac. No vac is worth that. Mary Kay sells expensive cosmetics. They are OK, but way overpriced. I remember the water filters that were $ 280. I bought one from Sears for about $ 30.00 35 years ago. I think the filter element is about $ 10.00 every year. If you want to make money selling, find a product that is desirable, properly priced, and one that you can buy at a good cost. Knock on enough doors, and you will sell some and make money. Example......Girl Scout cookies.

I am in Herbalife, it's a multilevel marketing program. While I definitely believe in the products I also understand where there's no will, there's no way, so a lot of people don't want to hear about it.

I only post on Facebook through my business' page and I normally post a link to something in the news and parlay that into my business to let people know there is something I can offer to help with _________ issue.

It's a touchy issue because a lot of people don't want to hear about it but I can't let that get to me. If I act like a puss and stop talking about it in my eyes I see that as potentially missing out on business.

That being said, if I see someone I know well talking about losing weight, or getting better pumps in the gym it would be foolish of me to not take the time to talk to them and gauge their interest and how serious they are.

My only defense is if Advocare helps you "change your lifestyle" and try to become healthier...more power to them. People need motivation and spending money is usually a good one.

Now selling the crap....thats another story.

What about that scentsy crap. My gfs cousin sells it and goes nuts with it. Not only is it pure crap, also a waste of money. The smell lasts 1 day and thats it. Candles still work 10x better and are cheaper then shitsy.

Michael: So, Phil recruited me to sell these cards, and now I am recruiting you.
Oscar: Who is this guy again?
Michael: Don't worry about Phil. He drives a corvette. He is doing just fine. Okay. Calling cards are... the wave of the future. These things sell themselves.
Ryan: Who uses calling cards anymore?
Michael: You know what? That's a nice attitude, Ryan, I'm just helping you invest in your future, my friend.
Oscar: This sounds like a get rich quick scheme.
Michael: Yes! Thank you! You will get rich quick. We all will!
Toby: Didn't you lose a lot of money on that other investment, the one from the email?
Michael: You know what, Toby? When the son of the deposed king of Nigeria emails you directly, asking for help, you help! His father ran the freaking country, okay? ...Alright, so, raise your hand if you wanna get rich. [Jim and Dwight raise their hands] Alright.
Jim: No, um. How is this not a pyramid scheme?
Michael: Alright, let me explain. Again. [draws on board] Phil has recruited me and another guy. Now, we are getting three people each. The more people that get involved, the more who are investing, the more money we're all going to make. It's not a pyramid scheme, it is a... it's not even a scheme per se, it's... [Jim draws a triangle around Michael's diagram] ... I have to go make a call.

I listened to the schpeal for about 3 of them. Fortunately I never lost any money.

Family of Eagles 1993: I ended up with 9 gold coins (9/10's of an ounce) I paid $350 for at the time. At least they are worth a whole lot more now.

Primerica 1998: Saved a good chunk on my car insurance, learned a lot about insurance and my retirement. I didn't lose any money and I am better educated as a result.

Ignite/Stream 2007?: Actually didn't listen to any lecture. A friend just told me what he was paying, asking if I was interested. I signed as a customer but not a dealer. They were good for the 3 years I had them until I found a cheaper provider.

but I have no desire to hear any new ones.

I actually admire the old ones from the 1980s where you just sent the guy up the chain $1000 and then tried to find more assclowns to do the same.

Everyone harps on them, but what's worse; going to work and busting your ass to eventually sell a good or service for someone else or busting your ass and doing it for yourself?
