What are your least favorite thread types?

I get sick of seeing constant reposts of the:

"thank you real estate Nate" or "thank you Greg/Greyhorse"

Just find the last one and reply - hey thanks for helping me too.

Vegas threads...we have a million of those fuckers and vegas doesn't change that fast.

Vague barg threads. I you want to brag about something then just do it...don't hide it by "requesting" help with a math problem you think is difficult or casually mentioning how young you are and a first time home buyer.

And my biggest pet peeve...the "can anyone recommend a..." or "what is the best..." threads where the author couldn't finish the fucking title until the post contents. I don't want to waste my time opening a thread about you needing a traffic lawyer.

I've probably done a few of these. I just want to bitch and maybe start shut.

A board member helping another board member deserve a thread, whether it's buying a house or jump-starting their car for them. If you're so bent out of shape about just seeing a thread like that maybe you shouldn't be on a fucking public forum. Just don't click the damn thing if you don't want to know what happened, it's pretty fucking simple.





The only threads that bother me are the ones (like you mentioned) that have vague titles or don't have an indication of what's inside. Generally those are the ones that get reposted anyway because you can't search for "OMG funny video" to see if someone has already posted a specific video.

As much as it pains me to agree with King Majestyk, the threads bitching about other threads are the worst.
