Well fuck. Probably just means more stupid traffic. I'd rather go hit up the Taco Bueno or chick fil a next door.

Still haven't tried in-n-out though so can't knock it i suppose.

Someone compare it to what-a-burger for me?

Don't waste your time. In n out is a bit fresher, and the fries are less fast-foody. It's worth a try to see if it suits your fancy, but I'd wait for the hype to die down in another month or so.

Thanks! I figured this would be the case. I still haven't drove by and will be in the area later tonight. What-A-Burger still gets my money!

hey this might work out in my advantage. i will be headed to oklahoma after work and will be going up 75 all the way, with the new location opening hopefully the allen location will be not as busy. i wouldn't mind having a couple double double's with no onions

I've been to the Allen joint twice with no problem. This was around lunch and it took 20 minutes max, even managed to snag a table both times.

Something I did last time, order your burger cooked medium rare, fucking tasty. Next time I'm ordering my fries well done too.

                      • Yeah the drive thru was long both times I went. I kept my eye on a truck in the drive thru, it took them about 40min before they drove out.

                        • It was a good fast food burger but nothing crazy special imo... definiitely not worth waiting 25 minutes in line for.

                          • The first time I went to the store next to the Olive Garden, I was only in line for 15 minutes, even snagged a table. I was there a less than an hour for the whole visit.

                            • Katrina and I were there Monday night with the kids. Got there around 6:15, walked in and right up to the counter to order. Didn't have any line or anything. Drive-thru line was still wrapped around the building though.

Double-Double Animal style...pretty tasty for a fast food style burger, but not worth the drive to Frisco from Southlake. When one opens up over here we'll probably go back more often.
