White Castle doesn't have California locations...

    Maybe I misunderstood your post.

It's also because we were just relaxing and hanging out. lol.

It's funny, there were people who waiting in the drive thru for over 5 1/2 hours. They even had a few people run out of gas waiting. Now THAT is insane.

I believe they do in Northern Cali. I'll double check my facts though before someone pops in here all angry for an e*arguement.

**Edit** I was wrong. No Cali locations. I suck at life. I suck at the internet. Fuck me. Armbar me. I'm fat. I'm crazy. blah blah blah.**

They don't. It's an East coast thing.

but yeah, just because stupid people line up for shit, it doesn't mean it isn't shit! LOL

I've never had White Castle, but Krystals was by far the worst hamburger I've ever had, I did like the little chicken sandwiches though.

Don't feel bad, it's just a natural assumption that a stoner restaurant is from California

Very true. Any taco shop along PCH in southern Cali will prove that statement. Haha.

They taste the same to me.

Whataburger welcomed In-N-Out to Texas btw

                    • White castle isn't that amazing...but i love them for some reason. Maybe it's because no one acts like they're gods chosen hamburger. They're just good because of the onions and novelty size.

Living in TN as a kid I thought the little sandwiches were a novelty , and a "fun" treat, but as alot of kids, I would eat just about anything, so that doesn't speak for quality or taste.

                        • I thought INO's burgers were ok but as many have said I didn't really care for the fries. I only ate there once, at the one in Las Vegas.

I do think In and Out will do fine here in Texas, we have plenty of really shitty places that seem to make it. I don't think Whataburger has anything to worry about, as they make a pretty damn good product for it being fast food.

What is amazing is that the Krystal burger place is still around. Damn. I got a burger or two there once and the meat was all nasty and grey and shit. Never went back and probably never will.

The manager told us last night they did over 7000 burgers alone yesterday. You have to admit, thats pretty impressive business for a company way out of the typical market. In my opinion, I think there is plenty of west coast transplants here in DFW to keep INO in business for quite some time.
Absolutely, positively, without a doubt. That's impressive. Stellar. Using an avg burger price of $6, that's $42,000 in burger sales alone. Addin in drinks, fries, milkshakes and the rest of the menu, they probably did $65-70,000 in sales yesterday. That is almost unheard of. For reference, the highest volume Pizza Inn in the nation is in Sparta, SC (I think it's south). They do $50,000/week in sales. $50,000/WEEK is what QSRs shoot for, but not many achieve and maintain that for long periods of time.

BUT, you have to realize, they won't do even close to that on a daily basis. They will do within +/-30% of that for the first 30-45 days, then that number will drop drastically. When the hype dies down, they'll do about $35,000/week at each location. The longer they are around, it will continue to drop because the hype wears off.

KK had their fryers going non stop for the first couple of days - now, it's a mere trickle of traffic compared to when they first came to town. Hype sells.

I don't seem them maintaining those sales any longer that a few weeks. Especially when more open up.
