  • I went to the Frisco location today at 4PM after work... from the time I got in line (stood in line, not drive-thru) until the time I received my order it was 40 minutes. By the time I left, the line was considerably longer, I'm guessing a bit over an hour wait.

The burger was OK, but I already knew that. The experience was cool, everyone was really friendly. I would do it again.

Me neither, but you can't deny their success. and they have the most hodge podge all over the place menu there is.

As for who- the evil empire, KFC, BK, Chili's Too, etc. And just to be clear, I'm not talking an entirely different menu. I simply mean certain regions have items that can't be found in other regions.

I know they're successful. Drunks and truck drivers need somewhere to eat at 3AM. The only regional one i have seen now that you mention it. is BK with their "Texas whopper" or whatever it is.

Yea during the off peak times it shouldn't be too bad. When i lived in california, the one by me would only have a line to the door right at noon, and around dinner time. Rest of the time it was about 5-10 mins to get your food from the time you walked in the door.

You didn't say the word regional, but you implied that their menu wont work here, and needed to be expanded to compete ouside of the west, (which isn't true BTW). Part of the appeal is that its a simple menu. You cant have 30 different things on a fast food menu and do them well.

And for the record they have been competing with everyone in so-cal for YEARS and seem to be doing just fine.
The implication was that if they're having to expand to texas for increased business...they will have to also expand their menu. But someone is too one sided and dense to think past their prematurely fabricated ideas.

I never said ANYTHING about their menu not working out here. How fucking dumb are you? Seriously...did you read my posts before responding?

The point is that they're going to lose the novelty of being a west coast icon, and people will realize the food isn't any better than the next place. So they have to expand menu options to continue increasing sales.

Look at what chick-fil-a has done. Or wait a minute...try and find another rabbit hole to take this down and make up your own completely wrong interpretation of what it should say.

As has already been stated, THAT'S YOUR OPINION. Stop repeating your (wrong) opinion as facts. They didn't "have to come here for increased business". It's capitalism at work. The obviously did a lot of market research before committing to coming, and saw that there was a want. There are enough California transplants here to keep that place open.

                            • Lol at the dumb fucks that hate the food thinking they gotta re-invent their menu to make the hicks in Tx come eat there...

West coast novelty, hardly... Doesn't matter that its here, the place will make money and isn't going anywhere.
