My wife and I search for them while driving on vacations, hiking or if we want to kill some time on the weekend, Jeep actually sponsored a "traveling bug" (geocache) which you entered the number and they gave away a Wrangler. I like when I find the travel bugs cause its cool to see where it been. So far the furtherest one I found that traveled was over 3000 miles, thats with just people finding and moving it around the US and Canada. One that sticks out in my mind was one that was a military metal and the goal was to make it to Fort Hood to be giving to some museum/collection on base. It started its trip from Oregon and made it way to Broken Bow,Oklahoma where we found it. We were heading to Port A so I left it at a cache in Killeen so a Military family can take it to final destination. My wife can spot them without using a gps, she will look at something and say there is a geocache there and most of the time she is right. People would be amazed on how many caches there are cause they are literally everywhere, right under your nose. Ammo can are the best cause they usually have good stuff in them
