Dealer license question

Ok, anyone know how many times you can buy and register a vehicle in a year before you gotta get a dealer license? Since I go thru cars like dumpycapri goes thru engine setups, I'm worried I'm gunna get screwed the next time I go in to register a possible trade I'm working on.

A whole lot............I asked the lady just that question last time I was in there and she said as long as you were not doing so many a year that it caught thier attention.

I have found the number 5 twice but was not conclusive.

The law states no more than four but they really don't care as long as you are paying your taxes. I am a dealer but do not have a trailer dealers license and I go threw them like changing my underwear. I would not worry about it there really is nobody watching registrations they will get you if you are flipping cars with open titles.
