We're visiting my family in Michigan and were going to come back on 9-11, my GF was paranoid and we had to change it to come back the next day 9-12. I told her if anything it would probably be SAFER to fly that day, although security might suck, lol.

The TSA clowns make flying suck no matter what the date...

That sounds awesome Eric, I'm jealous! You guys are going to have a blast and it's a great time of the year weather wise in Cali too for a PCH cruise. The only true thing I miss about home, PCH.

There are few things so relaxing as nice long cruise on PCH or in the Texas countryside.




Side note - That's a scary date to be flying into a major airport like LAX. Especially with Bin Laden's head recently getting an extra hole in it. Be safe!

SAN FRANCISCO – A federal air marshal says a man who was arrested after causing a disturbance on a San Francisco-bound American Airlines flight twice tried to open the cockpit door, the second time after a crew member told him that the restroom was to his left.
In a court affidavit filed on Monday, Paul Howard says Rageh Al-Murisi (rah-GAY al-moor-EE'-see) then made eye contact with the crew member, lowered his shoulder and rammed the door. He says the crew member got between Al-Murisi and the door, but Al-Murisi kept yelling and pushing forward in an attempt to open it.
The 28-year-old Murisi was subdued and taken into custody after the flight landed safely at San Francisco International Airport.
He is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday on a charge of interfering with flight crew.

Doesn't really worry me though. I flew on 9/11/2005 to Sacremento. Uneventful. I'd relish to relive a hood jumping scenario midflight on a terrorists sorry ass.
