  • I can get laid whenever I feel like it. I don't feel like putting up with any womans bullshit right now. Last video. I apologize for the horrible Radiohead on the radio. This was the only time we drove the spaghetti on Lombard Street, and I can assure you it feels a lot faster than it looks. Once again, me at the wheel, Danny filming.

          Agreed.

I can't believe I missed that opportunity when I was up in SF.

              • Awesome post! I can't wait to see pics.

I have an off the wall question...how comfortable was that Mustang for that long of a trip?

It was fucking awesome. The seating position is good and the leather was comfortable. We removed the headrests and that made it MUCH better.

I'm pretty average, 5'9 175 so I'm easy to fit. Eric is pretty big, I'm guessing 6'3 and 225 with some back issues and I never once heard him complain about the car.

                    • Couldn't have asked for a better trip car. 3600 miles, and the only things I found fault with were the headrests (which were easy to to solve once we figured out they were removable and they got tossed in the trunk), and the center console. The center console right where you would rest your elbow has about 4 pieces of plastic that come together, so it isn't very comfortable to rest your elbow on it. And it isn't padded. Aside from that, the actual ride was great, didn't give me any back problems at all. Quite a bit of this trip was completed at 100+.

                      • Also, the car is VERY quiet, unless you are under full throttle. If I bought one, I honestly couldn't even see doing exhaust modifications to it. It sounds very european to me under load. IMO, this is the best, and most refined Mustang ever made. Not necessarily my FAVORITE, but this is an amazing car, and works well in todays world.

                        • Man that looks like a kickass time! I've been to SF and been on that road and all the other SF landmarks, I wouldn't mind living there but the cost of living is insane. That car is just like mine, well except for the 19's and exterior package. I have pretty much owned every mustang made and by far this 2012 GT is my favorite. I agree no need to change the exhuast, it sounds fine to me.

I'm looking forward to the pictures, sounds like a badass time!

                          • I'm working on putting it all together. We took about 1000 pictures between the two of us, and obviously can't post all that. Also trying to put it into narrative to explain what we were doing. I'm at about 2000 words and haven't even gotten us to Bonneville yet. lolz

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

                              • Day One: The Eagle has Landed. We touched down in Los Angeles to rain at 8 am Saturday morning and headed to Hertz. After a substantial discount from AAA, but a severe interrogation about when we were declining the insurance from the female Hispanic clerk “What you MEAN you no want the insurance? NO ONE declines insurance when they rent this car!!,” we were at parking place number 500 and loading up.

The sky was clearing, and we decided instead of immediately leaving LA that we would see some sights. Danny picked first, and it must have set the rest of the trip up for some of the things we would encounter later as we traversed 4 states and 3600 miles in 9 days. This is Danny standing in front of the house off Normandie where Friday was filmed at. To say I was a bit uncomfortable in this neighborhood would be an understatement. The strange thing was, that even in the fucking ghetto, we had noticed a HIGH quantity of FINE latino women wandering around(most pushing strollers). We got the hell out of there before getting shot, and stopped off at Del Taco for some lunch so I could give Chili shit in text messages. After that it was Venice Beach.

Now I’ve been to Cali and the Pacific Northwest a few times, but this was the first time I got to stick my size 14s in the Pacific Ocean, so that was cool. California is definitely a different place. There were dozens of smoke shops and “Dispenseries” on the beach, and people openly smoking pot with apparently no fear of reprisal. It was a little bit of culture shock that one of the most retarded states in the Union seems to still squeak out a little more freedom than the rest of us. Of course that is a broad statement, it is just what I felt about it at the time. There were plenty of street performers, several of them funny and talented.

Danny being a badass on Muscle Beach:

After a bit it was time to get going, and we headed up to Malibu and the Pacific Coast Highway. Driving this stretch of road was pretty awesome. Right as it got dark outside, we suddenly hit the VERY narrow and winding portion of it. The Mustang handled like a champ, but we were growing weary. We decided Big Sur would be our stopping point for the night; the former stomping ground of Jack Kerouac and Henry Miller. We stopped at every single hotel in town and everything was booked. Apparently there was some sort of event going on. We drove to the next town. Same story. And the next. Same story. By this time we were fucking tired, and decided to make a leap north after getting hassled by some cholos at a convience store picking up some 5 hour energy and Danny buying a burrito that was hotter than the core of the sun.
