    Anyone know how to sharpen this bad boy up.?
    Its hit a few bones, lungs, etc here and there around town...Gotta keep the maintenance up, its a MUST!

      And when the blade starts folding over and you run it across the steel it straightens the teeth which makes is sharper than it was. I use knives daily as a cook and run them across my F Dick steel several times during a shift.

                They are Sharp. I sharpen on a belt sanders then finish with the leather belt with green compound.

                  Use the sidewalk, free and plenty around. I've sharpened some popcycle sticks a prisoner would be proud of.

                    So you've just proved my point. Simply using any sort of steel or ceramic rod is not going to be enough in the long run.

                      Lots of people swear by the Spyderco Sharpmaker. I've got one, and also a Lansky diamond kit, and I honestly use the Lansky more often.

                          when going through the ribs and it won't touch the bones, the lungs won't dull it.

                              Years back I used something similar to this to sharpen the knives in the restaurant I managed.

                              It was a little more utilitarian, but it worked. I kept several 14" butcher knives razor sharp.
