I often wonder how often this kind of thing happens and is never told. We can all figure out our birthmother by our birth certificate... but how do we know the dad on the cert. is really who inpregnated... especially if you were born in the 70's with all the swapping at work stories I have heard.

We were talking about that the other night.. The mother will always know the kid is hers, but the father will never "know" without a dna test. I think they should do DNA testing on every kid born to help establish paternity.

I think that's a bit too much like trying to legislate morality. Also too big brotherish, IMO. I can't ever see them doing that, because they don't want to be blamed for millions of divorces.
