The siren at Ovilla Rd in front of Sonic is less than a mile from my house and it sounded "attack" at 12:00am and then again at 12:05. I called the city to ask what the hell and they said it was an accident and they were trying to turn "THEM" off. "THEM" implies more than one.

Used to hear those damned things all the time in Arlington. Wasnt sure if it was Arlington or Kennedales. I lived close to the border. However never in the middle of the night unless it was in May 1995. Then I did hear it in the middle of the night followed by softball sized hail, glass breaking, and tornado.
