              Happened in Mesquite one night around 3am. Weather was perfect and clear skies across the state on the radar. Nothing on the news noteworthy. That will seriously keep you alert wondering WTH is about to happen.

                      Used to hear those damned things all the time in Arlington. Wasnt sure if it was Arlington or Kennedales. I lived close to the border. However never in the middle of the night unless it was in May 1995. Then I did hear it in the middle of the night followed by softball sized hail, glass breaking, and tornado.
