I worked on 5 different models of the H-60 for 13 years and the main & tail rotors for another 3 years. That they are trying to pass it off that those were "specially modified" Blackhawks is ridiculous. There is nothing in any of the pictures I've seen that is in any way H-60.
    More lies.

I don't think it could, with the increased cost . I mean just like the HEMS industry one after another they are thinning out the twins. The last question , I'm a Civilian pilot if thats a reference to service. Either way cool concept but helicopters just aren't built for speed. Impractical way to cover any real distance.

Thats pretty cool, it just looks like a shroud covering whatever type of hinge/pitch links it has. I've not got to get up to close to them like a pre flight. Pretty cool birds though.

        Here you go boys...

Before an elite team of U.S. Navy SEALs executed a daring raid that took down Osama bin Laden, the commandos were able to silently sneak up on their elusive target thanks to what aviation analysts said were top secret, never-before-seen stealth-modified helicopters.

^^^cool...like I said I work ground vehicles, but I've seen large dollars spent on superior systems, and even more spent on one offs. Look at the price of any fighter jet. The X2 will eventually compete.

One thing to note, the H-60 has a four bladed tail rotor. That one is clearly a 5 blade.

The shroud is one thing. The paddles of the tail rotor are different, the tail pylon is different, the stabilators are different. If it's still an H-60 airframe, it's been modified beyond recognition.

That statement was directed at the new sikorski helicopter

Looks like its the tail rotor of one of the helicopters used when they initially landed on the compound.

I love when we have tech that the rest of the world doesn't know about.

No I have not. I am just a common ground dweller with an opinion.

Yah its kind of hard to tell, what your looking at is directly at the vertical stabilizer and the tail rotor, the rest of the tail appears to be pointed in the air.

go check it out some time, its not what you would expect. Very simple stuff. I was kind of like "this is it" when I visited a towered airport in FL

I liked the last part that said that residents experienced loss of electricity and Internet capability before the raid started and after the helicopters left!

What is even cooler - they said when they landed power and cell phones shut down, ECMs for cell phones but how did they kill the power I wonder?
