I have made friends with the co-owner of Abby's Kitchen in Lewisville. Nice people. Family owned and operated. Authentic Mexican food, not Tex Mex. Mario and Abby are good people and my wife & I frequent the place. I feel bad because they don't get much business, but that location is not prime next to Tom Thumb. I usually get the Pollo a la Plancha or Brisket Tacos. Some of the best Guacamole Fresco you'll ever eat. Wife likes the Ensalada.

We ate there a few months ago. I am too white to read most things on the menu. I enjoyed it though.

There used to be a place at Maple and Knight in Dallas called El Rincon Tapatio. I ate there for 12 years at least twice a week. VERY authentic and cheap. Lunch plate with drink was $4.75. I miss that place.
