Terrible food and the margaritas are weak, and crap. They have a cult like following, just like Fuzzy's and Joe T's. I don't understand it. If one or the other was good, I could see it. But they both suck donkey dick.
Fuzzy's sucks. The only reason I went to one, was because the FB location was giving away free margaritas.

What is Joe T ? I have seriously never heard of that place.
Fuzzy can go to hell, seems like they are opening up at a lot of places now.
Fuzzy's is owned by Iranians. Lmfao.
Joe T Garcia's is in Fort Worth. They have a good location, but other than that its just awful. But EVERYONE talks about how good their food and margaritas are. I think I said it earlier in this thread, the margaritas aren't worth the heart burn (or worth drinking at all), and the food is comparable to Taco Bell.

But, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.

Seriously? I'll agree their food is meh but their freaking margaritas are lethal, I had one with lunch there one day and caught a buzz off that one!!

Damn, man. Sorry to hear that. If it'll cheer you up, Geor swallows. And even if it doesn't cheer you up, it cheers him up.

Sure, they're strong. But they taste like absolute shit. It's possible to have a good margarita that is strong, and still taste good. Antonio's in Bedford has the best ritas around, and Via Real has a might tasty Rita as well. Food at both is meh, so only go for the drinks.
I'm SO disappointed in Antonio's. Their food used to be out of this world. Then they changed to a bean salsa, and started charging for a tomato based salsa if you wanted it. And they went to all cheap ingredients. I used to go there 3 nights a week or more, and I haven't eaten there in 2 years the food got so bad.
EDIT - are you talking about Joe's or Esparza's? Esparza's is awful all around. Weak, and shitty. Joe T's is strong, but shitty.
The same ppl as Esparza's own another joint in Valley Ranch that has the same ritas, but the food is better. Guero's I think it is. Or Dos Gueros.

I was talking about Esparzas' margaritas, they have always been strong to me. I'll have to try one of the other places you mentioned and see what a "good" margarita tastes like then. I have been to Guero's and it was ok but kind of bland.

On Guero's, I said better. Not good. Lol.
Antonio's is off of 183/820. Exit Bedford Euless Rd, and it's on the left after you go through the light. There's a closed down Bennigan's and a Rack Daddy's in the same lot. Ask for Tony or Antonio, and tell them Brent & Haley sent you. They will take care of you. Via Real is next to Spirit Grille, but I'm sure you knew that.

I just wanted to comment on something I find somewhat interesting. A lot of people I know constantly tell me how "awesome" Uncle Julio's Fine Mexican Food is in Grapevine. I finally ate there the other day and I don't know if I just caught them on a bad day, but the food was mediocre bordering on bad.
Esparzas is a local "after work" hangout and cougar bar. The drinks are strong as hell! Food average to not!
Joe T for good food.

I only used to go there for the cheese enchiladas, never really tried anything else.

Thier fajita beef is really good. The salsa is made fresh daily, and sometimes it's much better than others. I am convinced they just "wing it" when they make it, because it's always different. They have stuffed chili rellenos the size of your head. The mexican butter and flour tortillas are fucking glorious. Most people I go with get the Senora platter, but I've never had it. I can't vouch for anything else on the menu. You might give them another try, though. Oh, and the service there is awful unless you sit at the bar. It's fantastic at the bar. And I don't mean in the bar at the side tables. You have to sit at the actual bar if you want decent service. The one in Fort Worth is better in every way, but it's far and usually packed like sardines.
