you can't up and decide one day that you don't want to be a S.S. anymore and leave.
My frame of mind is on point with this.

well, like racrguy said, talk to a recruiter. They can give you the most information. just don't bite into their bullshit.

If the military is a serious consideration for you, then you have to come up with a better argument than "a new adventure." That's just not gonna work.

When my brother joined the Corps he had the opportunity to go for S.S. but he didn't go for it because he was weary of his bad vision.

I don't mean new adventure such as an extended vacation or moving to a different state for work. I mean leaving the life I have now and starting fresh with the next chapter of my life. Something completely new, an entirely new commitment.

Anything. I feel as if I have my mind made up, I jus want to make sure it's for me and don't make a mistake Or pursue the wrong thing.

Well, maybe the military could be a good thing for you. The only reason i'm not in is because of my hearing.

Again, some of the military folk on here might give you a little information but overall, your best bet is a recruiter. But don't just walk in saying you want to be a scout sniper. Express interest in general so they don't think you're some video game nerd.

It took him months of FBI turning over every rock in his past life but after It was done and he start protecting Clinton he said it was the best thing he had ever done/experienced

Have you thought about going to college? If you join the military you will likely be right back where you are now when you're done.

Haha! Yeah right. Recruiters blow so much smoke up your ass. They will tell you lie after lie just to get your Hancock

Lol @ video game nerd comment. I actually got a laugh out of that. I would want to join(Marine Corps preferably) regardless. The S.S. program is just honestly the most desirable job to have, in my opinion. I'm at the tip of the iceberg now and still have a ton of decision making yet to do.

I never went to college nor wanted to. I'm in a field that I have been "studying" for over 10 years. I can easily get back into it later in life.

I don't want to get old and have any regrets so it's better late than never IMO.

Buuut, if he did the military first, college would be paid for.
