  • Becoming a Scout Sniper

What is the process? Join the military, go through boot camp then what? I'm 25 and a born again bachelor. I need a new adventure in life.

you better think LONG and HARD about why you want to be a S.S.

it's not just something you can walk into. It's a commitment.

you have to score high enough on your ASVAB to begin with.

I bet a recruiter would have the answer to your questions. Just sayin'.

That's too easy. I want to hear what my DFWM brethren have to say.

More feedback? In your opinion, what should my reasons be?

I know about the ASVAB test. I've looked into it some.

I'm not a Trick shot sharpshooter but I can hit what I aim for, just don't have a ton of experience. I have a high learning curve for anything I put my mind to. I am the type of person who if you tell me I can not do something, I will bust my ass just to prove you wrong.

Were you aiming for the wrong "quote" button?

Even if you qualified you might not get to shoot the gun; might end up being the spotter.

I can only imagine the amount of mouth-breathing neckbeards who walk into the recruiting office after a video game session that ask about becoming a sniper/special ops/seal.

first off, it's a commitment to the military. it's not just a job.

your reasons should be that you're willing to sacrifice your life for the greater good of this country.

you can't up and decide one day that you don't want to be a S.S. anymore and leave.

Being the spotter is the harder job.

This has nothing to do with my neckbeard and video games. Take that BS elsewhere please.

i've wondered this. and i bet it's fucking astounding.

some little fat fucker in high school goes into a recruiter's office with the mentality: "yeah! i want to be a seal! they carry cool guns and shit!"
