3 years ago I bought a 84 K-5 blazer with a 6 inch lift pretty much a mud truck for 500 because the owner could not get it to start and the 4wheel drive not work. I paid the guy had him sign the title over to me. Once that was done I got in the truck and hot wired it and drove it home

I swear all of these cars follow me home !! At least that's what I tell my wife when I tell her I bought another car. She just shakes her head and rolls her eyes. I'm a lucky guy because she never gives me shit about buying cars. I just explained to her that when I find them as cheaply and in as good of shape as I do, it's too easy to get my money back, sometimes double or triple what I have in them.

I bought 13 '55-57 Chevies a few years ago for $1,500 and didn't even have a clue what I was going to do with them. I never even had to go pick them up before I traded them all for a running, semi-driveable '36 Chevy coupe with a fresh, strong 350 in it and a late model 3 speed. The body is in AMAZING shape, and I have all of the fenders, runnings boards, grill and hood !! I'd say that was one of the better deals I've run across too. LOL !
