I would be giving the realtor a fucking reaming. So there was NOTHING you could do about it, other than laugh at the dumb fucks for selling it to you and losing an assload of money ?

Nothing I could do. They asked for an additional 5 days after closing to get their stuff out and the realtor said "They're good friends of mine, they'll be okay." I took her at her word and came in 3 days after close and everything was standing open and the workshop was deadbolted shut. When I forced my way in, there was a family of cats that had been living in there that they locked in for at least 4 days. That momma cat was NOT happy to see me.

I don't plan on moving and with my history, this isn't the worst thing that's happened. You take it and let it go.

Oh, and didn't know it until the first time I cut the yard that they had tossed partially used propane bottles in the yard. Have you ever seen what happens when a brush hog hits one of those?

The seller's agent (the listing agent) absolutely works for the seller. A buyer's agent, which you elected to do without, works for you (they're paid by the seller to bring buyers).

The sellers did you dirty, but if you're happy with the house, and you got it cheap, carpet & sheetrock aint shit.

I didn't know anything about a buyer's agent. I had been shot in the head, overmedicated, through a divorce and up until closing, lived in a travel trailer in the middle of a pasture with no power or water for 6 months listening to voices that weren't there sleeping about 45 minutes a night. I wasn't exactly as on the ball as I am now.

grand prairie, not an auction "per say" i call it that. it's a salvage yard.
prestige auto brokers, it just had a bent axle and needed a new quarter skin.
i just paid for parts. because at the time we owned a paint & body shop.

they always have grate deals. going back their soon to buy me a truck.
