We had some hunters lease our land every year, and we let them keep a little silverstream on it. Well, they did this for several years, then one year they didn't show up, and then the next year again. I called the last contact number we had, they said that they wouldn't make it back, and we could have it. Opened it up and had two rifles under the bed, ton of fishing gear and all kinds of other hunting/fishing supplies. The trailer was rotted out by then, but the rest
more than made up for it.

I fail to see any fucking humor in that. I would be absolutely LIVID if some sorry pieces of shit did that to me.

I would be giving the realtor a fucking reaming. So there was NOTHING you could do about it, other than laugh at the dumb fucks for selling it to you and losing an assload of money ?

I would call that realtor right the fuck on out, publically, as a fraud.

Probably my 1999 Mazda B2500 pick up. (still daily drive it, love this little truck)

It was sitting beside my neighbors house for 6 months. One day I approached him at the mail box and asked him if he wanted to sell it. He said yeah, make offer. $1,200 later it was in my driveway. 140K miles and great shape!!!!

The next day they were calling asking to give back my 500 because they had someone offering 125 for it. 4 bedroom 2 year old brick house on 10.5 acres of land. They kicked holes in the walls, ground grease into the carpets and rubbed toothpaste into the mirrors and left the doors and windows open for 3 days to get back at me, but it's been a good house.
A halfway decent lawyer would have gotten you enough to get Bob Villa himself to show up and do the repairs.

I was going to say that but mine only cost me $76. $1 for the pack of papers I needed to fill out and $75 to file. I have a friend who notarized everything for free. Woo, living in Maine was good for something!

                              Percentage-wise, I think you're the winner.

The seller's agent (the listing agent) absolutely works for the seller. A buyer's agent, which you elected to do without, works for you (they're paid by the seller to bring buyers).

The sellers did you dirty, but if you're happy with the house, and you got it cheap, carpet & sheetrock aint shit.

68 VW Vert I bought from the original owner for 800.00. It was in a building he was about to demo and needed it gone. Ran and drove great and did well on Ebay. Also a Jeep I paid 3k for then did a little bit of work on and tradded it for a 7000 dollar street bike.
