I'm in Midland. About 4.5 hours from the metroplex.

I did drive it through the metroplex last night though. Stopped at Texas de Brazil and got back to Midland about 2:30 AM. One of my best friends went with me otherwise I'd have had to stay overnight. Almost 700 miles one way. Car never missed a beat after adding brake fluid.

Carfax is worthless. I have seen train wrecks that have clean carfax reports and reports that would scare you to death and the car checks out good.

That's the car. I arranged with the guy to pick me up at the Wichita, KS airport. When he arrived I was not impressed. He did hand over all the Saleen documentation but I could tell immediately it was not a 12K mile car as advertised. Rotted rubber trim, body kit in bad need of paint, oil leaks under the hood, just the obvious crap.

The same thing happened to me when I flew to Lubbock from DFW to look at a 91 coupe. I flew SouthWest, and had cash in hand with no return flight booked. The guy met me at the concourse I arrived at. I had asked the guy if the car had ever been wrecked. He had told me no.

The guy was a liar. The car had been wrecked very badly in the front and it would've taken a blind man not to have seen the previous damage from the shoddy repair. I was so pissed that I thanked him for his time, turned around and walked back into the terminal and bought a one way ticket back to DFW. The look on the guy's face was priceless. He never thought I'd turn back around and not buy his car.

This was about 4 years ago when airline tickets were cheap. I was only out $200 for the flights. That was better than being out $5500 which is what the guy was asking for his POS.

I need a driver side inner door handle bezel in black, astray and lighter. Also looking for gray seat belts in nice shape for a 88 LX Convert. next need is a Mint turn signal/wiper lever assembly for a tilt column. Finally, I could use a nice pair of rear inner qtr pannels with the snaps. These are 87-89 convertible specific items only. Would you happen to have or have access to any of the above?

Did you ask why he forgot to add a "1" on the mileage in his add? Does he not understand what blatant theft via purposeful misrepresentation/deceit is?

Even Carfox says it's gonna be 112,000, not 12,000
