I'm going to contact my attorney today and see if there is anything I should do. If he wants to pursue something I'll let him. I told Mr. Weaver I wanted him to buy the car back and that I'd eat the plane ticket. I think that's the easy way out for him...but he won't even do that.

Tom Weaver (Z11Weaver), you lied. Plain and simple. I flew to Wichita on false information. Two options: 1. Buy the car back or 2. Never sell anything on the internet again because a simple search of your name is going to yield this scam every time for the next victim you attempt to hoax.

I GIVE good deals to military people on stuff I sell, but I don't trust anyone fully when buying. When it comes to money, most people are not outstanding individuals.

My frustration was that my buddy and I were stuck 700 miles from home without return tickets. I did not want to be stuck in Wichita any longer or have to buy return tickets at the counter as I've done that before and right now they're high $$$$$$. I weighed my options and thought it best to get home with the car and pursue Weaver from my home turf. I was cornered pretty good.

BTW, I just posted a short summary of what I've found on the car so far over on the corral.

That sucks, but thats your fault, Id rather chase him on home turf for a few hundred bucks of tickets than an 8000 car. Either way best of luck. Usually when I fly out if its not expected Ill negotiate more $$ off the price
