When you mow yards it can become normal. 4 is overkill. I do take at least 2 showers a day though & 3 is common for me on some days dependind on where my jobs are at & how long I have to work that day & the amount of work on the job

I guess a Q tip could mash wax in if you have globs of nasty wax or something

q-tips come out of my ears clean almost all the time. every once in a while, there'll be a little trace of wax.

BUT, I'm an clean ear freak I clean them with soap and water as deep as my pinkies will reach in the shower, rinse them in the shower, then drop some rubbing alcohol in them post-shower, and then hit them w/ q-tips

my wife always says the two reasons I landed her were 1. I'm tall and 2. my ears are always clean as a whistle

You have to watch out with q-tips... we get patients in all the time to the ER who stopped being able to hear out of an ear. They have impacted ear wax from q-tip use and have to be cleaned out.

Well shit if you'd clean your ears out every day you wouldn't have all that wax pushing mashing further back. I've used q-tips for years and no buildup has ever occurred. A bic pen lid also works real well at cleaning the ear canal.

I fill mine up with water in the shower, then lather them with soap, then rinse. Never waxy. Worst part is the drainage down the throat.

In Vietnam, they clean your ears when you get a haircut. Like how a doctor would do it I suppose. They use a bright light and an assortment of tools and spend about 5 minutes per ear. It felt awesome. I was amazed what they removed, and I clean my ears twice a day, everyday.
