  • The soreness in my shoulder Is almost gone. It's tender still, but i think it'll be alright in a few days.

Once it dries up outside I'll be underneath that cursed turd again.

I got gas all over my face and in my ear a few months back changing the fuel filter on the Bronco.. That shit sucks ass.

As for the rest.. I always use jackstands when getting under a vehicle. If I'm just pulling a tire I may not but I am always very careful to keep my appendages from under anything. Hell, when i did the lift on the Bronco I was using 6 stands and 2 jacks at one point.

                • One of my more stupid moves once was looking at the end of a stuck drum brake wheel cylinder (off the car) by pushing on the opposite end. It's amazing how fast the close eyes reflex action is when you push hard enough to finally get the brake fluid to shoot out of the cylinder.

It really doesn't matter, it got my leg too. Should I edit that in or no?

                        • Ramps for chaning the oil are no big. E-brake, in gear and chalks. For getting the whole car in the air with the ramps under the front tires, they better be the metal ramps that are cupped at the top and pin the brake down with a length of 2x4 against the seat while you jack it up so it can't roll. Sounds to me like it was sitting at the edge of the ramp. I normally use 4 wide base jack stands to get the whole car in the air and make sure they are all flat. NEVER crawl under a car with just the jack holding it up. Only takes a sec to jam a jack stand under a support before you slide under.

I'm glad you're alright! You could've been much worse off.

Accidents must be in the cards this week because yesterday I took a dive onto ceramic tile hitting my head on the way down to the floor. Cracked my head, my wrist/elbow, hip, knee and twisted the living shit out of my ankle.

Do you have any pain pills you can spare?

Travis (Your Name Here) knows me, as well as several people on here that know that I don't, and have not ever had a sip of alcohol.

No big deal, really. Just something I chose not to do a long time ago. There are no underlying reasons. Neither of my parents were drunks, etc.

Everyone asks me why I don't drink, like something is wrong with me. I'm used to it now, though. Especially when they work with and me and are hungover the next day.
