Most GPs will write for alprazolam on request for anxiety IME. It can be pretty bad stuff at high doses, people get into all kinds of trouble when they use it recreationally.

i had a high school friend that abused the shit out of xanax. i have seen him pop 7mg at one time and drink a 12 pack on top of it. How he didnt die or get some sort of brain damage i dont know
