Toll booth violation...

I am curious about this. A buddy of mine bought a cash car from some shady dealer on 121. When he went to register the car(he lives in Houston) he was unable to do so, they told him there was a problem with the title, and that he needed to take it up with the dealer to get it registered.

He contacted the dealer, who apologized and promised to get it figured out asap. The dealer then stopped answering his calls, and he was basically left holding his dick with a car that he is unable to register.

He is in the process of getting a lawyer friend to send a certified letter, but is there any other recourse in the meantime? Would there be a legal issue that would warrant getting LE involved, or is he just screwed?

This is true. I stopped driving the toll roads altogether when they stopped accepting AMERICAN CURRENCY. Total fucking bullshit, ripoff, scammolla, international cash-rectomy, commie shit.

Got a relatively small bill in the mail today for $16.80. Problem is I sold this damn truck in 12/09. I traded it in at a dealer on another car back in 2009. Anyone had any dealings with the Toll folks? I just got it and called, but they close at 1630 hours.

Ok, SERVERAL THINGS are incorrect here...

Not Foreign owned, actually nobody owns the NTTA, WE have a 9 member board that makes most of the decisions. Made up of politians from around the DFW area. All of whom are White folk, so on top of all the problems, according to John Wiley Price, we're racist too, might as well play that card.


Just like any other Government agency, gross spending, lack of leadership, nobody is ever accountable for the FUCKED UP things they buy or decisions that are made.

I can take a quick glance in our Fleet yard and easily see 2.5 million dollars worth of vehicles and equipment never being used. No one ever does research before a purchase is made. So they buy shit that either never works right from day one or is the wrong thing, to do the job it was intended for.


Most of the employees hate the company as much as the rest of North Texas.

I myself got a bill for my vehicle that has a non-revenue tolltag on it. The picture was fuzzy so they just guessed at the last number. It was for a Ford F150, and my truck is a GMC C3500.

On a daily basis we're reminded of how broke the NTTA is, but new stuff keeps coming in every day.
