    You can go 200mph thru the boothless tolls and still get you picture taken unless your on a bike riding on the that special lane.

                  I knew a guy once that actually installed those cameras and believe it or not they can get your plate even if another vehicle is only two feet off your bumper, regardless of speed. Hard to believe but it's true.

                      Yes. There are cameras every 1000 yards or so on the tollways on top of the light posts. You used to be able to view them on public access channels on TV.

                            I believe so but honestly not sure. It's been years since that discussion and what stuck was the two feet away from your bumper at 100 mph test that they did to make certain they were working correctly.

                              Some of the tollbooths don't have cameras that can get your plates if your tailgate is down. I used to drive with mine down all the time to see if it saved on gas all that much especially on longer trips.
