Nikon DSLR - 300ish bucks

Stupid question - what happens when a camera has a lot of shutter clicks? Does quality slowly decline?

Quality doesn't necessarily decline but there's more room for some sort of mechanical failure. I think they say more consumer cameras are good guaranteed till like 100K shutters or something like that.

You can probably get him down to $300....but in general photography stuff does hold its value and many people dont want to budge.

He said the camera has 13,XXX shutter clicks and is going to take the picture. He thought the request was strange and I almost found myself explaining it's purpose until I realized if I tell him, he could easily photoshop the spots out....

tell him to shoot it in raw, and read the exif it'll tell you if its been modified by ps.

X That. I see faint smallllll little circles on two of the pics.. THought it was my monitor at first. Anyone care to vice their opinion? It looks almost like the lens has a smudge on it, but only shows on two of the three pics.

DIGITAL Rebel I know the lines. I have owned 3 so far about to get my 4th. This is the original rebel and I will be selling my XTI next

What are those small "circle smudges" I see? You can see them in two pictures and are in the upper left and right corners.

Those are small dust spots on the sensor, which they can be cleaned off.

Sweet guys, thanks! I am going to look at it today and see if I can get him closer to $300. Canon guy, if all else fails I am possibly interested in yours.
