Kinda funny to see people rationalizing why they can't let loose of less than six pennies a day when they have no problem dropping $40 or more in a night of drinking. Both are entertainment, and the least expensive choice actually has a return...

I realize I'm in the minority here, but I have not donated yet.
Sure it's "6 pennies a day" but when it comes down to it, I would much rather donate $xx / month to a local charity, a boardmember in need (ie. TxRedneck's friend a couple weeks ago), neighborhood kids' fundraisers, etc.
It's the holiday season. I think Toys for Tots or the foodbank will get more mileage out of my money than the NSFW subforum here.

Have you ever seen what happens to some of these "gifts"?

I worked a volunteer job once as security for "less fortunate" people that were getting free gifts for their kids. They were pulling up in Cadillacs (this was before SUVs became the rage) and picking through the toys making comments "this isn't good enough for my baby" etc... Some of the toys I'm sure ended up being sold for pennies on the dollar by crack addicts under the guise of getting toys for kids.

I'm not trying to be harsh, but just let you know that not every good deed is a good deed. There are scavengers out there especially at this time of year to take advantage of your generosity.

Wasn't guilting anyone, really. I was simply making a comment on some people making excuses about why they don't want to support the site. Which was ironic to me.

No real biggie to me either way...
