My X-rays obtained through work get scrutinized by a Harris radiologist followed by a B-Reader, and he's reported to be among the best at what he does in the country. A pulmonary nodule showed up on one of the X-rays several years back, and CT determined it to be a benign granuloma, which has since remained a constant size. Where it originated from who knows, but I suspect it could have been a reaction to inhaling traces of the copious amounts of dried grackle droppings left on downtown sidewalks that got airborne by the ever-present wind.
