Is everybody tired of these weather warnings yet

I think technology is fucking up some things. Now that the weather assholes can see all the stuff inside clouds in thunderstorms on radar, they are obligated to warn us all or face lawsuits for not doing it when someone gets hurt.

All this weather used to be called a Spring shower, now it's like the end of the fucking world evertime a storm blows over with all the dam warnings non-stop.

The problem with this is if there is really bad weather, people quit listening cause of the nonstop warnings when nothing happens.

Fuck. It's the end of the world according to the meteorologists on TV this week, but I have seen all of 20 minutes of bad rain and that's it.

I agree...and I am always amused how TV stations have to send some poor soul out into the hurricane or tornado weather to do a live shot...as to think the general public will not believe them if somebody is not on scene doing a report.

I had weather alerts sent through text for like a year or so, I had to unsubscribe from it yesterday, I got about 15 texts about a severe thunderstorm warning in Grapevine in a ten minute period. :|

I listen to NOAA and thats where I get the warnings and stuff. The weather channels here just overhype the situation and are more concerned about ratings and all the cool video than to warn people of whats coming.
