Called the lender, they "re-reviewed" it and gave me the go-ahead. I am going to take the advice of the board and dispute the claim once it comes back as paid. Maybe I'll get lucky.

On a side note that Credit Karma site works great.

Hello all, this is my first post.

I used to work at a credit repair company and spend lots of time at credit forums, so I think I can help.

mustangguy289 was right about MyFICO. They are the only ones that offer your real FICO scores (the ones that all the lenders use). If you get them anywhere else, besides myfico or a lender, they are fake scores, commonly referred to as FAKOs. So, CreditKarma.com is a waste of your time.

You can find out a lot more about this stuff at http://aaacreditguide.com/forums/ It's a forum just like this where they discuss credit issues all day. Lots of people have had great success using the methods at that site. There are a few other great credit forums as well, but AAA is my favorite.

fico is not. sure fico is official but ck is close enough.
