        From Consumer Reports' website:

        Models are ranked by value score, above or below the average model (1.0). Scores are calculated based on each vehicle’s five-year owner cost (shown as cost per mile), road-test score, and predicted reliability rating. A car with a score of 2.0 has twice the average value; one with 0.5 has half the average value.

          I hate overlly lifted trucks with a passion. They are a hazard and should be outlawed.

          There is nothing useful or practical about having the cab of your truck over 10ft in the air. I think that shit is dangerous.

                  Wrangler = timeless.
                  1997 Wrangler $8000

                  Same original cost. The thing is pretty much the same design for over 70 years.
                  Quality and durability / dollar, the cherokee is 10x the vehicle that the explorer, S10 blazer, etc were. With a straight six and a 5 speed, they go 250k on original drivetrain consistently.

                  I like them, but I think the wranglers are overrated, but they are still solid vehicles until you lose the straight six, then I wouldn't think about owning one.

                          Bought a loaded 05 300C brand new. Road trips from Tulsa to San Antonio, Austin, upstate New York twice, Pa. 3 times and last September to New Hampshire. Cruise usually at 80 and pull around 22 mpg. in 70K miles,only things that have broken are a fan blade and the sensor for the auto wipers. Only gripe is the original tires were shit, lasting not quite 30K miles. I really like driving the car.
