A good friend of mine has an MIP. It has affected his life in no way. I think your record gets cleared when you turn 21 anyway.

Not really, but a Class C, non-moving violation won't do shit for a record at any age.

Correct unless something has changed. Did they keep the alcohol or bottles?

Had this happen to me by TABC and was able to get it dismissed with a lawyer. The best part was the lawyer didnt cost a thing....we agreed to let him come talk to the fraternity.
Looking back, he came out way ahead.....

Unless you want to sit for any nursing or allied health exam in the State of Texas.

Anything other than a misdemeanor traffic violation has to be declared to the state board for scrutiny. A friend of mine was able to sit for his NCLEX with an MIP, but he had to take extra alcohol awareness classes, and was required to undergo random testing for alcohol twice a month for 3 years. He applied to the nursing program almost 10 years after the MIP.

I also knew a girl who was just arrested for suspicion of DWI, who wasn't charged or convicted, but she had to go through the same thing.

I'm not sure if that is the same as a class c misdemeanor, but I had the DPD tell me I couldn be a Dallas cop if I had a class C mis. I laughed at him and asked him how someone could be potus, but not a cop. This was at a job fair. I thought that was funny that they were being so picky, considering half of their police force was corrupt.

What ford house do you work at, so I'll know not to set foot in the place.

Hopefully you will learn. Hope they throw the book at you because kids are fucking stupid and have a hard time learning.

I don't even know where to begin with all this misinformation.
