Had this happen to me by TABC and was able to get it dismissed with a lawyer. The best part was the lawyer didnt cost a thing....we agreed to let him come talk to the fraternity.
Looking back, he came out way ahead.....

Anything other than a misdemeanor traffic violation has to be declared to the state board for scrutiny. A friend of mine was able to sit for his NCLEX with an MIP, but he had to take extra alcohol awareness classes, and was required to undergo random testing for alcohol twice a month for 3 years. He applied to the nursing program almost 10 years after the MIP.
I also knew a girl who was just arrested for suspicion of DWI, who wasn't charged or convicted, but she had to go through the same thing.

I laughed at him and asked him how someone could be potus, but not a cop. This was at a job fair. I thought that was funny that they were being so picky, considering half of their police force was corrupt.
