Then Sometime. Around Oct the wife and I are probably going to do a trip to Jamaica or something like that. We normally do Mexico but it sounds like that might not be the safest trip this yearOriginally posted by grove ratshiiiiiit.. i love em thick

We are spending a week in Florida at my son's baseball World Series and then we are headed to the Beaches Resort at Turks and Caicos for another week. A friend of my wifes stayed there with her family and said it was amazing. Our suite opens onto the beach! Cant wait.Originally posted by grove ratshiiiiiit.. i love em thick

We contemplated moving out there permanently but that would make her present salary which is very good for N Texas not be so hot in SD. We went out there with her in January for a week and everything is expensive out there..especially housing. Her coworker pays $2500/month for a 900 sq ft townhouse that is just ok. It is not extravagant at all. I guess that is Cali for you. I know this sounds shitty...but while she is tied up at work, the boy and I will spend some time in the mountains, the desert and plenty of time on the beach. Hell I may even take a ton of pics and post 'em here.

In the neighborhood just north of me there are older homes that I would say range from $200k-$300k in a nice neighborhood in the metroplex, and the last one I saw with a for sale sign out front was priced just over $800k. There are other's that are "worth" well over $1M, that are just older 4 and 5 bedroom houses, and this is about 20 minutes from the closest beach.Originally posted by grove ratshiiiiiit.. i love em thick

I recommend taking the Old Town Trolly Tour while y'all are out there. In a day's time, you can hit Seaside Village, The Gaslamp Dist, Old Town, Balboa Park, and Coronado Island in one swoop.
