The difference being that Caucasians don't bundle themselves together like blacks do. There was no "million Caucasian man march." When OJ got off on the murder the majority of blacks were thrilled. I think I read that 90% of Blacks voted for Obama. Rev. Al garnered support for the Duke Lacrosse Stripper even though there was mounting evidence she made it up.

People are just tired of it. If Black leaders, parents, clergy etc. are unwilling to demand better behavior as a collective group from their communities, someone will step in to do it for them. Make sure to keep looking for racism while the unwed pregnancy numbers skyrocket, blacks have higher incarceration and school dropout rates. I guess it's easier to point the finger and yell racism than it is to ask for some personal responsibility.

Read your post and tell me who is pointing fingers. Sure is a lot of "they, them, their" in your post. Why does a "black leader, parent, clergy, etc" have to "demand better behavior from their communities"? And how are you personally going to "step in to do it for them"? I mean, your whole post is a rant on personal responsibility, do you think someone else should shoulder the burden of resolving the issues you've so astutely defined?

I am not racist but if a group of black people come into an establishment and start making a ruckuss you can bet that I will one hand on my wife and the other moving for the pistol as we make our way out the nearest exit. Does that make me a racist?

If I see 2-3 black males drawing attention to themselves hooting and hollering acting like a bunch of thugs walking down the street; again one hand on my wife and the other moving for the pistol as I change my course of direction. Does that make me a racist?

You can insert any color of skin into the two above scenarios and my actions are going to be the same. But last I checked I don't see a lot of VIRAL videos on the internet about a group of crackers jumping up on the counter and swinging and kicking.

I work with plenty of black males and would invite any of them over to my house to meet my wife or pet my dog but they would never act the way these dirt bags are acting in all these videos. Then again all the black dudes I work with vote republican, work 84 hours a week, don't have a dozen kids and don't use words like "my babies momma". On the same note I work with lower class or the trades guys that are white who I would rather kick off a cliff vs even telling them the neighborhood I live in.

Unlikely. In the event that you would have been lawfully permitted to shoot, if you did not shoot, I have a hard time believing that you would be charged with brandishing.

There was also a significant backlash against him when he pointed the finger at his own race and demanded that they take personal responsibility for their life choices in a speech at the NAACP event at Howard university several years ago. This wasn't a situation where the victim was able to remove herself. Getting jumped in the bathroom, getting knocked senseless and your attackers keep coming back is hardly a diffuseable situation. The monsters in this video verified that with repeated attacks.

IF I was a bystander in this instance, I would have done nothing the first go-around. I have no clue why they're fighting. White girl could've said some stupid shit or done something physical to be worthy of an ass kicking. However, I would have had to do something on the come-back-around ass beatings. I have no reason to think that I'd need to draw my weapon, I'm thinking a properly administered grab-a-double-handful-of-her-neck and throw one across the room as hard as possible might have brought some levity to the situation... At least enough to stop that assault.

Sticky situation. I don't see it as being a problem if the victim drew upon her attackers as a deterrent. I can see a problem if you, me or any of the other males in this thread saying they'd shoot them instead of just bouncing their heads off the ground. You know as well as anyone if you draw a weapon, especially in an environment like that it could escalate quickly. I'd rather take my chances by separating the hood rats from the victim before blowing my entire wad by pulling a weapon. However, none of this matters since it took place in Maryland. If any of this shit went down the hood rats would be out of jail before we would.

Respect is for people that deserve it. I feel bad for Monsoon with all of the crap he has to read because I respect his opinion, even though I don't know him personally. At the same time, I don't mind calling a spade a spade. Like some people have said, I have many black friends who I would trust like my brother, but that doesn't mean I have to like all black, white, etc people. There are plenty that I like and plenty that I dislike. Each one of us represents their our family name, race, nationality, etc whenever we say or do something. Whatever we do reflects back on them as a whole and there are a whole lot of people that make their groups look really bad. I'm absolutely pointing fingers out of frustration that this kind of behavior continues. There's no peer pressure from anyone to quit acting like animals. I don't know what the answer is but it pisses me off that it continues and I don't see an end in sight. Maybe it's just a "black thang" and I wouldn't understand.
