So i went yesturday and looked at the cobra, first the car has over 50k, it is not a clean car both front and back bumpers are trashed front one is missing lower valance rear valance cracked, the core support the tow truck used a tow hook to pull the car from it, it bent the core support and trashed the condensor and the heat exchange. He wanted my car and 3k cash. I laughed. On a good day if anyone wants this car is worth maybe 5k, its basically a rolling chassis. Its at empire motors in garland.

I found a clean cobra long block for a great price, so I thought I could pick it up and get the cobra and have it running, but the guy is trying to basically make it where he never bought the car. I guarantee he barely paid 3k for the car, and my z is going to bring lose to 8k.

lol that cobra is ruff, The motor is in a millon peices,no trans, the lower core support was bent way out due to someone towing it, bent the heat exchanger and a/c condensor,most of the wiring under the hood is gone,
the passenger tailpipe is bent upunder the bumper. front and rear bumper will need repainted, I offered $7k for it

rear bumper will need to be replaced, there is a tear in the valance, and front is the same. That is what I figured it was worth about 7k. SO it would have been a good trade for me. He said though the Trans was there, He paid I bet money about 3k for the car!!! max.

Why not fobra a clean GT? You could be building that on the side while you've got your Z for now, then sell it when the mustang is done.
