    Lol

The first PM I got on this board was because of my first statement in this thread. I made mention of my weight in another thread and someone sent me a PM stating that I was fat and he could help.

That plane sir is a PA-39. Better known as a Twin Comanche. Looks like a mid 60's model.

I would guess that it is a 1966 or 1967. I have about 400 hours in twin Comanche's. Of all the piper products I have flown, I like the PA-31-350(Navajo), or the Malibu best.

So is the 400lb limit a legit concern?

The average PA-39 will carry 1330 lbs. Out of that weight there is a fuel of 90 gallons.

So with 90 gallons(full tanks) 90x6.7lbs/gal= 603 lbs of fuel.
                                So 1330 - 603 = 727# remaining for people.

                                avg person 180, 727 -:- 180 = 4 (180 lb) people with full tanks.

If the flight is not very long, pilots will offset fuel to carry more flesh(people).

To answer your question, yes the aircraft will haul 727lbs with FULL tanks. Concern, well how much does the pilot weigh? His weight counts into the 727(with full fuel) as well!
