      There are also many deaths on that road, trees are not your friend and niether are the 50-100 ft. cliffs.

        Looks like a blast.

        Reminds me of the "Road to Hana" on Maui that I drove a couple of years ago, the locals will scare the shit out of you on that road, but it absolutely beautiful. The only crapy part is the only way back is down the same road and driving it once is stressful enough.

        Although Hāna is only about 52 miles (84 km) from Kahului, a typical trip to Hāna takes about three hours, as the road is very winding and narrow and passes over 59 bridges, 46 of which are only one-lane bridges, requiring oncoming traffic to yield and occasionally causing brief traffic jams if two vehicles meet head-on. There are approximately 620 curves along Route 360 from just east of Kahului to Hāna, virtually all of it through lush, tropical rainforest.

          A few pics of Cherohalla Road. We were having too much fun to pull over on the Tail!

          The might Milan. I pushed this car MUCH further than anyone ever should. Brake fade, tires SQUEALING, 4 wheel drift, the works. Never gave me a hint of trouble. WTG FORD!!



          The view from 5500'+ looking out over North Carolina or maybe Georgia. It was gorgeous!





          These are on the Foothills Highway before the Tail of the Dragon looking out over Tenn towards Knoxville. Again, gorgeous.
