So I've been doing a lot of online shopping the past couple of days, and I think I've figured out how to throw together a semi-custom gas piston AR for under a grand, or right at it. DPMS has the Oracle kit for $495, MGS has a gas piston conversion kit for $260, and robertrtg.com has HK picatinny sights for $125. I just got an Aimpoint, so I could always use that. I just dig those HK sights. Thoughts?
