They all hung out about mid level in the tank, excepts the plecos, and were very entertaining. When I cleaned the tank one of them would swim up and brush my arm like a damn dog. When I move I going to set up something similar with a bigger tank. I love fish but I am not moving a aquarium again.
Sounds like a sweet tank! I just have a 55 gal and am down to 5 cichlids from about 10. My tank is pretty balanced now but I have been through 3 large alge eaters. I have no idea where they go either. One day they are fine, then I will come home and no alge eater. I guess the other fish get the munchies while I am work. Not even bones are left. Post up pics KC when you get your new fish.

No problem. Post some pics of your tank up when you are done. I am in the process of setting up a 150 gallon tank. I'm finishing some trim work where I'm setting up. I too have had a cichlid tank. I'm not too crazy how they like to dig up stuff and rearrange. I'm going to go back to a community tank with a school of red rummies and maybe some neons and other miscellaneous peacefull guys.
