I'm looking for specific breed of goldfish & the only place I knew locally that could get such fish has closed down many years ago. I figured someone on here might know of such a place.

        That's some funny shit!

You should try this place out, maybe they can order or have them or can point you in the right direction.

Keller Farms has been the aquarist\'s premier choice for Fresh & Salt water fish, corals, live rock, sand and live plants at reasonable prices.

Looks like a pregnant parrot fish. Try Dallas N. Acquarium.

This, I've seen them at Petsmart before but not always and they would probably die in 2 days anyways

Well, I don't think they actually carry them there, but they can probably order you one if you can't find it anywhere. Creative water gardens in... shit... Garland? Also there is a place called Keller Farms somewhere in the metroplex that sells koi and goldfish and all that. They too might be able to help you out.

I've had a couple of Chiclid tanks over the years & have found them to be to destructive & ultimately a pain in my ass . lol I like goldfish because the very easy to keep always active & almost never hide under a piece of wood or slate. Me & the kiddo love sitting and watching them.

Koi are really cool because they can survive the texas winter outside in a pond. And the get pretty big and look like living jewels.

LOL You just got to get the right fish and give them entertainment to follow around. I had a 140(I think) with one african cichled, one albino cichled, one oscar, one green terror, one jack dempsey, two plecos, and 5 red tail barbs. They all hung out about mid level in the tank, excepts the plecos, and were very entertaining. When I cleaned the tank one of them would swim up and brush my arm like a damn dog. When I move I going to set up something similar with a bigger tank. I love fish but I am not moving a aquarium again.
