One more observation... I would be willing to bet that 80% of the male population smokes cigarettes. I have not seen a single female smoking.

Cigs are $.75 a pack, 1/10th of what they are back home.

Thanks man! I cannot wait to see the pics the photographers took, those are just from our personal camera. They will finish them in PS and all that jazz. They took a shitload, a lot more settings that what I posted on FB. And like everything else here, it was CHEAP! lol

Here's something else strange I've witnessed, I've seen this twice now.

So in the states we've all had to piss on a road trip, out in the middle of no where, and pulled on the shoulder to do so. This is usually done somewhat in hiding, like behind the open car door, off in the bushes, back to the road, whatever.

I've seen two dudes walk right to the edge of the sidewalk/curb and piss in the street. I mean facing the street, in full view of 100's of people. Like right in the heart of the city and in broad daylight. It doesn't seem to bother anyone... no one points or comments, and talking to the in-laws there is no law against this. Strange.

Vietnamese also don't seem to give a shit about picking their nose. They do it proudly, in any situation.

Thanks Henry! I wish I could stay longer than a month... normally no matter where I vacation, I'm ready to go home after five days. But I could stay here for months no problem. And yes, this was a big reason in selling the Impy. Didn't want to do it, but ya gotta do whatcha gotta do. God willing I hope my wife and I can pop out a kid or two in the next few years, and the hot rod hobby has to take a back seat for a while.

Another thing that varies a lot from the states here... no one tips. Wait staff at restaurants included. Same thing for taxi drivers, etc. A lot of whities do it out of habit, but NONE of the locals do.

And when you enter any sit down restaurant, the waiter/waitress escorts you to your table (not a hostess) and stands there until you're ready to order. You can look at the menu for 20 minutes and they will stand right there at the table the entire time until you're ready to place your order.
