I got my Cobra from Ebay. I actually drove 8 hours to Manhattan, KS with Danny, swaped vehicles and drove a 30year old car home with nothing but some hand tools and a jack, just in case. I've probably purchased 6-8 cars site unseen (other than pics) and haven't had any real bad experiences.

Ive done it a bunch of times, never turned out that bad, the one in particular that came to mind was this POS geo prizm that didn't run(rod sticking out the block) i got for $50. My intention was to go get it, drop it off at the scrap yard on the way home, sort of a favor to help the people get rid of it. Just out of curiosity i called to see what our supplier had on the shelf, got the motor/trans with 30k miles for $850, dropped it in and sold the car for $2500, ended up clearing 1400 bones on it.

Back in August, I flew up to Denver and drove back in my '95 GT. My sister flies with SW Airlines, so I got a pass and flew up on a Sunday morning. He and his wife met me at the airport with the car. I drove it around some, crawled under/around it, decided it was worth the trip, and drove it home 850 miles (12 hours) without incident (except that Trooper south of Amarillo at 10:00 that night! LOL!).

I hadn't done that in years, and truth be known, I kind of enjoyed it.

          No regrets here.

Went to Ky to get a Lincoln from SleaseBay my brother bought. Some problems were not noted but, we made it home. My D.A. brother loved it.

Does she want to sell any of those passes, uh, I mean "trade for?"

I wanna surprise my parents in Vegas when I get back.

When I leave this time, my project is basically shutting down. There is another Project Manager stepping in to do that.

I'm Jewish... Jewish you were more like me.
