If she's happy, healthy, and well cared for, I wouldn't. If she's neglected and tied up in a yard, I'd pursue it. If she was adopted through the humane society, you may not be able to reclaim her without reimbursing the current owners for expenses. Have you checked to see if the chip has been reassigned to them?

It hasn't. I was at work and the dog didn't have collar on when my grandma let the gate open. She was abused before I got her... Odd things about the dog. She'll attack if you touch/grab her feet or touch her back side. Also terrified of beer bottles.

I'll probably just let it go just curious what some of you would do in my position.

I've already got two dogs now though and know she only has 2-3 more years left in her I'm assuming so I'll leave it be. Might stop by though just to see the reaction of my dog.

That's a deal breaker for me.....I can't have a dog that drinks canned beer.

Mexican family...the dog is probably fine. If it was with a vietnamese family however, I'd snatch it up ASAP for the dogs sake.

why are you just now worrying about this? You must not care for her that much.

Try the "Warriors come out to Play" approach.
