  • Not sure what I should do

I lost a dog while I was at work about 2 years ago and today I found out I could find her.... Turns out she had a chip in her. Anyways what would you do?

She is about 15-16 years old now and I adopted the dog many years ago.... Had her for about 8 years total. Would you try and locate her and take her back from whomever has her or would you leave it be and move on?

Yeah I do. Some BIG mexican family has her. Bunch of kids out in the yard with a chain fence around the front. Small tiny house.

You have moved on and have other dogs. It's been 2 years. Not two months. She has a new family now.

I'm sorry, but how in the fuck did it take you two years to figure out she had a chip?

It was my grandma's dog and I was helping her move stuff out of storage yesterday and she saw my dogs and mentioned something about Nikki and that she had a chip in her and I was like what in the fuck? Looked it up thru Plano pound and the dogs well. I suppose.

Man let it go, the dog is probably happy if a family has it now. Plus you would have to explain to it why you never came looking and that would be an akward conversation, lol.

The dog wasn't a Saints fan. It's for the best.

Yep. I'd let it go. Hell, even go by and talk to the family to see if they will let you spend some time with her. But don't ask for the dog back... After 2 years.... Unless she's in a bad living situation (not being fed, beaten, etc).
