The previous owner of my house had a son die in it from huffing paint. Weird crap happens all the time like seeing shadows on walls and stuff but nothing bad. When I moved in 7 years ago my boys said they saw a guy in their room and that really freaked us out but they havent seen him in a long time.

My best friend came over one time and I was showing him something on my computer and while we were sitting there in the corner of my living room we saw a shadow of a person walk by on the wall like someone was behind us. We were alone and my buddy about shit his pants, ran outside and refused to come back in. I was laughing the whole time because Im used to it.

I think I would still move in but they are religous and think it may be a bad omen.
Eh, I'd do it. It's not much different than someone dying of old age in the house. At the end of the day, someone died. It's not like she'd request a different room at the hospital because someone died in it.

Tell them to have their priest/preacher/reverend/minister come in and bless/cleanse/pray over it, and burn some sage, in case the Native Americans and pagans were on to something.

Seems like a great way to get a substantial savings on the single most expensive item most people ever buy. Everybody dies. I'd do it in a heart beat.

i think for people who believe in spirits etc.... there is a difference between nana who passed in her sleep, and someone who was murdered.

Apparently it was a pretty gruesome scene, they looked it up online and got the police report and everything, lol. I told them I would move in but I wouldn't do a bunch or research and get all the details, I guess they already did though.

They said they would put a scripture up on the wall where her body was found in the house to help ward off the spirits. I told them that would only serve as a constant reminder.

I believe in spirits, but my personal convictions about getting a great deal over-rides everything else.

And agents aren't actually legally obligated to disclose manner of death if it is unrelated to the current condition of the property.

So what's the story on the murder?

Would they need to worry about negative spirits if they accepted Jesus Christ as their savior? I thought they would then be protected. What's the big deal?

Not necessarily. It may be just what they need to feel as if they're paying their respects to the deceased. I'm sure they're going to have scripture all around the house anyway, plus, they've researched the murder scene and viewed photos.....if that in itself isn't a constant reminder, I don't know what is!

Al, where are they looking? I know where you are currently, is it in the same area? On Cimarron perhaps? If so, I know of the murder you're talking about and a teenage boy killed his entire family. I'd definitely stay the fuck away from that house...

They have looked for a month or so and finally found a nice 4 bedroom house at a dirt cheap price, got all the paperwork in order and things are moving along normally.

They go over yestrday after church to look around at it and the neighbor comes over and tells them that a lady was murdered in the house 5 years ago and it has sat empty since then. I guess a bank bought the house out of foreclosure and didn't know about it and so it never told them before now.

Question, would you still move in or would that be enough to keep you from a great deal?

I'm not sure about texas but in oklahoma houses owned by the bank don't have to disclose any information like a regular seller would. Kind of BS if you asked me. Also as far as ghosts, Ive seen some creepy stuff so you never know.

The 14 year old daughter and her 17 year old boyfriend stabbed her mother in the neck numerous times and then beat her with a baseball bat to death. I guess the mother didn't like they boyfriend or something I don't really know all the details. Happened in Roanoak(sp)
